Belief paid off for Derbyshire group celebrating TV victory

Just two days after their victory on TV show Don't Stop Believing, Derbyshire harmony group DaleDiva's members have already been asked for their autographs.

And minor stardom is just the first step for the prize-winning group, who beat 3,500 other bands to be crowned as the best choir in the UK on the Channel Five show. They performed in front of millions of TV viewers and a celebrity panel of judges including singer Duncan James and actress Tamzin Outhwaite.

They will now go on to record an album.

Belper member Jackie Ligo said: "It's indescribable."
