Belper & Duffield Rotary Club held the event at Morley Hayes in the presence of David Coleman, the High Sheriff of Derbyshire, in aid of the air ambulance and Macmillan Cancer Support. And following the event they handed over £2,000 to each of the good causes.

Rotary President, Hilary Surga, said: “I would really like to thank everybody who helped with the midsummer ball and especially those who joined us on the night. This presentation is a fitting end to a very busy and eventful year.”
