Chemicals firm’s bid to extend lab

Chemicals manufacturer Lubrizol has applied for permission to extend a laboratory at its Hazelwood site.

The company is asking Amber Valley Borough Council to grant an extension, alterations, ventilation and screening at the Nether Lane base.

An application said the works would place “within an established research and development site.”
