Church-goers have raised nearly £800 to support the work of Belper’s Drop-Inn youth centre.

Worshippers at Belper Unitarian Chapel handed-over proceeds of the chapel’s coffee morings and Harvest celebration following a fundraising concert on Saturday, April 5.

Musicians Jasper Malone, Ella Juster, Laurie Illingworth, Kai Swarvett and Toby Ingram entertained the audience and raised £295 towards an overall total of £795.

Andy Phillips, Belper Unitarians Outreach Officer, said: “Many thanks to all who gave of their time, talents and money for this very worthy cause.”
