College principal to retire this year

The head of Chesterfield College has announced his retirement.

Trevor Clay, 57, will leave his role as principal at the end of this academic year after more than 14 years at the college.

Mr Clay, who became head in July 2012 following the mysterious suspension of former chief Judith McArthur, has worked in further and higher education for a total of 27 years.
