Motorists and travellers are being warned about the following delays and disruptions to travel today, Monday, June 9, in and around Derbyshire.

M1 Derbyshire - Queueing traffic on M1 southbound between J25, A52 (Nottingham) and J24a, A50 (Derby), because of an accident involving two lorries and a car. On the hard shoulder. All lanes have been re-opened. Congestion to J26, A610 (Nottingham).

Derbyshire - Stanton Road in Ashbourne blocked at the Cavendish Drive junction, because of a jackknifed lorry. Police directing traffic.

M1 Derbyshire - Heavy traffic on M1 southbound at J29a, Markham (Markham Vale).

M1 Nottinghamshire - Heavy traffic on M1 southbound between J26, A610 (Nottingham) and J25, A52 (Nottingham).

A38 Derbyshire - Slow traffic on A38 southbound in Coxbench between the B6179 Derby Road junction and Little Eaton Island.

A52 Derbyshire - Slow traffic on A52 Ashbourne Road eastbound in Derby between the Markeaton Lane junction and Markeaton Island.

A52 Derbyshire - Slow traffic on A52 Brian Clough Way eastbound between Nottingham in Stapleford and The Qmc Island in Nottingham.

A516 Derbyshire - Heavy traffic on A516 Uttoxeter New Road eastbound in Derby between the A5111 Kingsway junction and the A601 Stafford Street junction.

A617 Derbyshire - Slow traffic on A617 eastbound in Temple Normanton between the B6425 Hassocky Lane junction and Chesterfield.
