DERBYSHIRE: UPDATED East Midlands Airport re-opens

Flights are now departing from East Midlands Airport after it was closed this morning due to the snow.

Many flights were been cancelled from the airport while others were been diverted or re-scheduled.

Some of this morning’s flights were put back to later in the day - and most flights are now departing and arriving, although there are still some delays to the original timetable.

East Midlands trains say there is currently a normal service across the region, as has been the case throughout the day.
