A second jobs fair is set to be held in Amber Valley this week when dozens of vacancies will be in offer.
Amber Valley MP Nigel Mills has organsied the fair, which will be on Friday March 28 at Ripley Leisure Centre, Derby Road, between 10am and 4pm.
Amber Valley Borough Council is to provide free parking for those attending the fair, and Trent Barton is offering a half-price zigzag ticket to constituents travelling to the fair on the day – downloadable from the event’s web site at www.ambervalleyjobsfair.co.uk.
Last year’s event saw 100 people land new jobs after visiting the fair, also organised by the MP.
Tory Mr Mills said: “Over the past few years I’ve helped support local start-ups and expanding businesses.
“I’m keen to build on the success of last year’s event, when 600 attended and 100 found work as a result of the day. There will be great opportunities for part-time and full-time vacancies, along with apprenticeships and training opportunities, I’d encourage all constituents to come along.”
