Unexpected views of Belper is the theme for an exhibition being staged at the town’s Cherry Orchard gallery.

Until February 8, the “Totally Locally” exhibition will be celebrating the sights and sounds of the town and some of its more unusual views.

Owner of the gallery, on Market Place, Suzanne Parnell said: “These aren’t the run of the mill views of Belper.

“Among the places featured is the Clusters area and Clusters Row. There’s also lino print of the mill tower through trees.

“This is one of a number of exhibitions we putting on at the Orchard, the next one being Jenny Oldknow.”

Local artists Ross Sallaway, Jayne Nemeth, Suzanne Parnell, Andy Mayers, Paul Davies, Geoff Futter, Madelaine Chamberlain, Brian Cass, Roger Morgan and Kelly Nixon feature in the exhibition which runs between 10am and 5pm each day.
