Festival hit by tornado will be back even stronger

A MUSIC festival which was hit with by mini-tornado last year is back and promises to be better than ever.

The Bearded Theory festival had to be cancelled last year after a freak storm hit in the middle of a performance ripping off the roof of the stage and injuring several members of the 2,500-strong audience.

But organisers have promised it will be back this year at its usual venue of Bradley Nook Farm, in Hulland Ward.

Organisers have also said there will be an excellent line up at the event.

Musicians from both the local area and further afield have been booked, along with comedians, and DJs.

A number of craft events are due to also take place over the three-day event in May.

There will also be open mic stages and busk stops- where people can sing or perform during breaks in the proceedings.

Adult tickets cost 65 for the weekend, and children under 16 cost 15 for the weekend.
