Fire crews called to Bridgefoot blaze

Two firefighters wearing oxygen masks tackled a blaze in a kitchen at Belper’s Bridgefoot.

Crews from Belper, Crich and Duffield were called to an end terrace house at around 2.50pm on Friday, January 25.

The extra engines were needed to douse the kitchen in water from the outside while the two firefighters were inside.  Nobody was injured.
