Heanor indecency arrest

A 14-year-old youth has been arrested following four incidents on Heanor Memorial Park.

The youth was arrested yesterday (Thursday January 10) and questioned before being released on conditional bail not to go to the park.

He was questioned about four offences involving indecency between December 20 and January 2 either on the park or nearby on Ilkeston Road.

Local Safer Neighbourhood officers and the response team at Amber Valley are patrolling in and around the area to offer reassurance to members of the public.
