Scrap metal helped a housing association raise £750 for Belper’s Drop Inn Youth Centre.

Futures Homescape sold off obsolete plumbing and heating fittings to raise cash for the centre, which was hit by an arson attack in January.

Andrea Fox from Belper Drop Inn, said: “This is a wonderful surprise, and has come at a time when we really need it most. This donation will have real impact, helping us to get back on our feet.”

Futures Operational resource manager, Denis Kelleher, said: “We were really inspired after meeting Belper Drop Inn and wanted to do more to help this worthy cause.”
