Lead stolen from houses

LEAD was stolen from two addresses in Belper during one night last week.

A third, attempted theft of lead flashing happened on Sandbed Lane at about 3.40am on Wednesday, February 8. The would-be thief, a male in dark clothing, fled after being disturbed. The two thefts, from bay windows, happened on Kirks Lane and Sandbed Lane at some point the same night. Any witnesses should call police on 101.
