MP helps combat sexual violence

Belper MP Pauline Latham, hosted a reception in the State Rooms of the Speaker’s House, House of Commons, to mark International Women’s Day. The guest speaker for the event was Jasvinder Sanghera, from Derbyshire charity Karma Nirvana, which help victims of forced marriages and honour violence. Mrs Latham said: “I am pleased the Government used the day to focus on preventing sexual violence.”
