A nursery has set up in new surroundings after being forced to leave its former home.

Ladybirds Pre-School, which had been situated in Pottery Primary School since 1973 has re-located to the Strutts Community Centre.

Bethan Woodfine (pictured), from Ladybirds, said: “In October we were served with our notice to move by the school as there was building work to be done and no room for us.

“Luckily Strutts were able to offer a room that used to be a room to small children so fitted the bill perfectly. With help from parents we cleaned and painted and moved in three days.”

The pre-school, which is Ofsted rated as ‘Good’ with five outstandings has places available for new children.
