Plans to extend protected pub

Owners of a Milford pub are asking Amber Valley Borough Council for permission to extend.

Punch Taverns have applied to modify existing first floor fire escapes, install new toilets and create a new access to the rear yard at the Strutt Arms Hotel, on Derby Road.

In a statement the pub company said the architecture of the existing building, which lies in a conservation area, would be retained.
