Ripley carwash fire

Firefighters tackled a small blaze at a Ripley carwash on Saturday.

The fire in the single-storey 20m by 10m building on Nottingham Road was reported at 9pm and fought by crew members wearing breathing apparatus.

A thermal imaging camera was used to check for hotspots. It is thought the fire was started by an electrical fault.
