Those with strong views on the future of Matlock town centre will want to attend a workshop to discuss its development.
Derbyshire Dales District Council is to host a three–hour workshop about the Bakewell Road project on Saturday, March 8.
People will be encouraged to make their suggestions on how they would like the redevelopment of the town centre to progress as part of a structured discussion lead by independent planning consultants The Planning Cooperative.
The event is the response to the council’s meeting on January 13, in which the Corporate Committee deferred making a decision on two suggested options to move forward the project, instead requesting additional public consultation.
Anyone who wishes to attend should email their name by close of business on Tuesday, March 4, to firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01629 761336.
Those who are unable to attend the workshop can email comments and suggestions for the discussion to email@example.com
