Hundreds of children from across the Belper area took part in the annual St George’s Day Parade in town on Sunday.
There were services at two churches – one for the older Scouts and Guides and one for the younger children from groups, including Beavers and Brownies.
All the youngsters then formed a large parade which marched through the centre of town accompanied by two marching bands.
Belper Town Council leader John Nelson, said: “It was an absolutely wonderful day to see the Brownies, Beavers and Scouts processing through town was brilliant - and they were so well behaved.
“There were many waiting at St Peter’s and lining the streets and it was a tremendous service.”
