Derbyshire crime commissioner Alan Charles and the senior officer team from Derbyshire Constabulary will be taking questions via Twitter at the start of a monthly strategy meeting.

Derbyshire tweeters can ask questions via Twitter @DerbysPCC or @DerbysPolice or by using #askSGB in their question to the Strategic Governance Board (SGB) meeting on Monday, January 27.

The introduction of #askSGB is designed to enable more people to get involved with local policing and increase the accessibility of Derbyshire’s PCC and Constabulary.

Key items on the agenda for discussion include the budget for 2014-15, police performance, stop and search powers, the Police and Crime Plan, police officers leaving the constabulary and hate crime.

Monday’s meeting, which is open to the public, will be at Police HQ in Butterley Hall, Ripley, starting at 2pm.
