Commuters and residents are being disrupted and delayed by the following traffic difficulties in and around Derbyshire this morning, Friday, March 14.

A6 Derbyshire - Slow traffic on A6 Derby Road in Belper at the Gibfield Lane junction, because of a traffic light failure.

A38 Derbyshire - One lane blocked and heavy traffic on A38 northbound in Derby between Kingsway Island and Markeaton Island, because of an accident involving a car and a cyclist.

A5111 Derbyshire - A5111 Raynesway in Alvaston partially blocked at Blue Peter Island, because of an accident. On the roundabout.

Derbyshire - Traffic light failure on South Street in Ilkeston at the Coronation Street junction. Expect delays.

A38 Derbyshire - Heavy traffic on A38 southbound in Derby at Markeaton Island.

A52 Nottinghamshire - Very slow traffic on A52 Brian Clough Way inbound in Nottingham between Bramcote Island and The Qmc Island.

A52 Derbyshire - Very slow traffic on A52 in both directions in Derby at Pentagon Island.
