More than 20 gardens will be on show to the public at locations across Belper this weekend as part of a charity event.
Visitors will be able to follow a trail of private gardens and public parks as part of Belper Open Gardens. Refreshments, plant sales and entertainment will be on offer.
Tickets, priced at £3, are available from Fresh Basil on Strutt Street or at 26 Windmill Rise, Belper.
Organiser, Kathy Fairweather, said: “Open Gardens gives a unique opportunity to see the hidden garden gems of historic and beautiful Belper, a town proud to have won Best Large Town at the Royal Horticultural Society Britain in Bloom National Awards for 2012 and which is a finalist yet again.
“All proceeds from entrance fees will go to a number of local charities.”
