VIDEO: The week in pictures

Waiting for Video...

It was the week it emerged Belper and Duffield fire stations could be saved from closure after 80 per cent of people who took part in a consultation said they wanted them to stay open.

It was also the week that Holbrook Centre for Autism was given praise by education watchdogs and our Pennies for Our Heroes appeal was gathering pace as we raise enough money to plant a tree in Belper to honour our heroes from World War 1.

Openwoodgate Playgroup was given a welcome £9,000 cash boost and Denby Pottery was up for sale.
