Belper North Mill is urging people to find out more about volunteering opportunities at the historic landmark as part of a national awareness week.
The attraction is taking part in National Volunteers Week until Saturday, June 7 and people with hidden talents are being encouraged to visit the museum and charity.
From taking guided tours to graphic design, reception and sales to photography and DIY there is a wide range of opportunities for people wanting to give back to their local community or are looking for a chance to improve their CV.
Mill manager Sarah Skinner said: “The museum and charity wouldn’t be able to carry on without the enthusiasm and dedication of our volunteers.
“We’re a really friendly team and there’s lots of opportunities for people to develop their skills as well as learn new ones.
“We need people of all ages, from all backgrounds and with lots of different experiences to come forward and give us a hand.”
