Wildlife at half-term
THE Belper-based Derbyshire Wildlife Trust is providing a selection of half-term activities for all the family.
The fun starts on Monday, February 13, with an Owl Discovery Day at The Avenue Washlands, near Chesterfield. On the Wednesday, and at the same venue, is a Birding Bonanza. On the same day at the Wildlife Discovery Room at Carsington Water there will be a Tracks and Trails event. The week will be rounded off with the chance to make elf dens in High Tor Woods on Friday, February 17.
All of the events, apart from Tracks and Trails, are free. Booking is required for all the sessions apart from Birding Bonanza. For session times, more information, or to book, ring the Trust on 01773 881188.
