Woman cut free after Morley crash

Firefighters had to use cutting equipment to free a woman from her car after she was involved in a crash while driving through Morley.

The motorist, who was treated in hospital, was injured while driving near the Rose & Crown in Woodside at around 4.15pm on the afternoon of Saturday, February 9.

The crash involved two cars with one needing its roof removing by the fire service to allow the driver to be extracted.

The Highways Agency were also requested to attend the accident as there was oil which had leaked on to the road.
