A choir is set to celebrate its tenth anniversary at a special performance tonight.
The Duffield Singers, founded in 2003, is made up of members from the churches of Duffield, and have performed in venues such as Derby Cathedral and the halls at Chatsworth, Kedleston and Hardwick.
And during an event at St Margaret Clitherow tonight, March 13, they will welcome past and present members following their AGM to mark the occasion.
Caryl Bromage, the choir’s chairman, said: “It’s thanks to the loyal members of the Duffield Singers that we have reached this wonderful milestone, our tenth anniversary. I am so proud to have been a member almost from the beginning and am looking forward to many more years of singing with them.”
