A 39-year-old man has been arrested following a raid by police and trading standards officers on a Belper shop.
More than 5,000 cigarettes and 1.5kg of rolling tobacco were seized during a search at Belper Mini Market, King Street.
One person was questioned under the Trade- marks Act and later bailed pending further enquiries.
A sniffer dog was used during the raid, to find suspected counterfeit products around the premises.
Community Safety Inspector Russ Dakin said: “We have been able to confiscate a large amount of suspected counterfeit tobacco.”
