PEOPLE from Belper will be able to meet police chiefs at an event designed to give residents open access to those spearheading the fight against crime in the area.
The public meeting will take place on Monday, November 28, and will help familiarise residents with the changes affecting Derbyshire Police, as well as provide an opportunity to put questions to those tasked with protecting the community.
It will take place at Belper Town Football Club, Christchurch Meadow, Bridge Street, Belper. Refreshments will be available from 6.30pm and the meeting will start at 7pm.
Residents are asked, if possible, to let the police know if they plan to attend by calling 01773 733771 or e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Among those in attendance will be divisional commander Karl Smethem.
