Local MP’s Pauline Latham and Nigel Mills visited Denby Pottery to celebrate an innovative business collaboration between the 200-year-old ceramics firm and Belper-based designer Sarah Marley.

During a tour of the pottery’s visitor centre, the MP’s viewed Mrs Marley’s stunning collection of tea-themed art, which was designed and created in Derbyshire.

They also met the designer and senior representatives of Denby Pottery, and were quick to praise the enterprising nature of the partnership.

Pauline Latham said: “I am so pleased to see the new collection launched by Sarah. To now see a close partnership between her and Denby Pottery is a logical step for such an enterprising designer with amazing talent.”
