ENVIRONMENTAL groups with green ambitions are being urged to pick up a grant of up to £10,000 to help them achieve their goals.
The Green Insurance Company has launched its Green Grants initiative for a second year to help groups working on environmental projects.
There is one grant of up to £10,000 available, with a remaining £30,000 available in grants of up to £2,000.
Group in and around Belper are being encouraged to apply.
The town’s MP Pauline Latham said: “This is really exciting news for the whole of Mid-Derbyshire, and I would encourage local organisations to apply.
“The £10,000 grant could fund a great local environmental initiative, while the £30,000 of smaller grants will ensure we are able to help projects all across the UK.”
