Workers at Denby Pottery raised a mug to help beat cancer during the attraction’s first public MacMillan fundraising Coffee morning.

Belper Central Methodist Church and East Midlands Trains were among other supporting the Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning event on Friday, September 26, which raised £20 million last year. Supporters of the Denby event included The High Sheriff of Derbyshire Mr David Coleman and his wife Hilary. Spokesman for the pottery, Nicole Roath, said: “We received an incredible response which exceeded our expectations. We are so thrilled to be able to hand a total amount of £930 - with still more coming in - to Macmillan.”
