RAIL passengers in Belper, Duffield, Ambergate and Whatstandwell are benefiting from a £10 million improvement scheme.
East Midlands Trains has improved station facilities on the Matlock-to-Derby line by giving passengers an improved information service.
A new PA system has been rolled out at the stations, which means customers will get real-time information about their train service.
Rob Mason, passenger information manager for East Midlands Trains, said: “It will help to ensure that all passengers know exactly when their train is due to arrive or depart. Feedback so far has been very positive, and we hope that this will help to deliver a much improved service to our passengers.”
Also, new digital departure screens have been installed on both platforms at Belper.
