REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY: Belper services to remember the fallen

Fallen heroes will be remembered during a service in Belper on Sunday November 8.

Organised by Belper Town Council, the remembrance day service will commence with a wreath-laying ceremony at 10.45am, followed by a two-minute silence observed at 11am in the Memorial Gardens.

A parade will depart the Memorial Gardens at 11.10am and make its way to St Peter’s Church for a service at 11.30am.

In addition to these arrangements in Belper, a service will be held at 10am at Holy Trinity Church in Milford, and a service is to be held at 10.50am at Christ Church on the Triangle at Belper.

A short service and two-minute silence will also be observed in the Memorial Gardens at 11am on Wednesday November 11.
