Revamp for pub

THE CHAIRMAN of Derby County FC pulled the first pint at a revamped pub in Little Eaton.

Tom Glick nipped behind the bar at the newly-refurbished Queen’s Head, on Alfreton Road.

The revamp cost £400,000. The pub is owned by the Derby Brewing Company, which is run by father and son team Trevor and Paul Harris.

Mid-Derbyshire MP Pauline Latham, who lives in Little Eaton, said she was impressed by the new-look establishment.

She said: “I would encourage people to go along and have a look.

“They have done a really good job.”
