CHRISTMAS celebrations are starting early for the music world in Belper.

This Friday, December 16, the Queen’s Head, on Chesterfield Road, is home to a Christmas Cracker, presented by the town’s Deafbox Promotions.

Kilburn youngsters Midday Firework are next on with a mix of popular rock songs, before Belper/Ashbourne four-piece The Alternative get the toes tapping using a range of different instruments.
