Pentrich runner Ian Hartshorne donated £4,942.20 and gift aid of £271.75 to the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance (DLRAA). Mr Hartshorne presented the cheque at the ambulance air base in East Midlands Airport. Ian raised the money from sponsors when he took part in the 26.2-mile challenge of the London Marathon. He had set a target of £3,400 to help fund two rescue missions.
