The British Heart Foundation (BHF) is calling on people in Derbyshire to sign up for a fundraising pack and support the charity during February - National Heart Month.
There’s a really easy and fun way to help and go Red for Heart by joining in Wear Red Day on Friday 24 February. Anything goes for a suggested minimum donation of £1: wear red shoes, a red tie or even dress head to foot in red. Desks, offices, vehicles and buildings could also be turned red.
For other ways to be a part of Red for Heart and for fundraising tips, order a free fundraising pack at bhf.org.uk/red, contact Sophie Jardine, fundraising volunteer manager for Derbyshire on 01773 822302 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
For more information please contact Karen Payne in the BHF multimedia team on 01623 666157 / 07734 595898 or email email@example.com For out of hours please contact the BHF Press Office on 07764 290381.
