a GO-ahead youth centre in Belper held a coffee morning to celebrate a skydive they took part in.

On Friday, March 25, a team of seven from the Drop Inn, on Derwent Street, jumped out of a plane at 13,000ft to raise cash for the centre.

And to celebrate the achievement, well-wishers were invited to the centre to view a DVD of the skydive and a display on the skydive experience.

One of the jumpers, Adrian Stone, gave a talk, and there was entertainment in the form of comedy, dancing and music.

Drop Inn founder Andrea Fox said: “It was really good, a success. We did a sing-a-long and got some new faces involved with the centre.”
