CHARLIE the Clown and Derby County mascot Rammie helped relaunch the Specsavers store in Belper and also raise money for the NSPCC.
The King Street shop has recently undergone an £85,000 refit and extension.
To coincide with its relaunch, a day of fun saw Charlie hand out balloons to children, while Rammie handed out goody bags.
There was also a raffle, with prizes donated by Belper businesses Nono’s, Sweet Memories, Sundial Style and Fresh Basil.
Money was collected throughout the day in buckets and, with help from the raffle, the day raised £260 for the NSPCC. The NSPCC is the store’s chosen charity of the year.
