Marie Curie Cancer Care was granted a street collection permit by:
Amber Valley Borough Council on Saturday, March 10, 2012. A total of £389.11 was collected in Belper town centre, as part of the Marie Curie Cancer Care Great Daffodil Appeal.
This money will be used to fund the Marie Curie Nursing Service in Derbyshire which provides practical nursing care at home to people with cancer, free of charge.
This makes it possible for people who are terminally ill with cancer to live to the very last moment at home, rather than go into hospital.
Marie Curie Cancer Care would like to thank all Marie Curie volunteer collectors, who gave their time so freely and the public for their generosity.
