FAshionistas flocked to a play centre to see the latest trends worn on the cat walk and help raise cash for charity.

Little Monkeys Play and Party Centre, based in Darwin Forest Country Park, Two Dales, raised £580 for the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign by holding a raffle at a Premier Fashion Show .

The 150 ladies who attended were invited to purchase raffle tickets to win fabulous prizes donated by local businesses.

Manager Katie Howes said: “The event featured the latest fashions provided by Geisha and Grace Boutique of Matlock and a selection of vintage clothes from Matlock Antiques.

“Little Monkeys staff volunteered their spare time towards the event, helping out behind the scenes, and it’s terrific to see all of the effort that went in to organising the event paid off.”

“As guests and staff had such a brilliant time, we are planning to make this an annual event.

We are particularly delighted to have raised such a significant amount for the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign - only made possible by some very generous donations for the auction.”
