Teenagers who helped tackle fly-tipping in Bullbridge were rewarded with a trip to Cadbury World.

The 10 youngsters from the Futures Homescape Youth Community Rangers group have been clearing, planting and litter picking in woodland, and making habitats for wildlife.

The work was carried out as part of a “Dreamscheme” initiative run by housing company Futures which encourages young people to take part in community-based projects in return for a trip of their choice.

Sarah Whattam, community development manager at Futures Homescape, said: “A trip to Cadbury World was just what they deserved after all that hard work in the rain!

“This woodland is a very important part of our local environment.”
