Elderly and disabled people in the Belper area are being urged to look out for help packs that will assist them when it comes to switching over to digital TV.
The information packs are being posted through doors around the town now.
This is in time for the full analogue switch-off on Wednesday, August 31, this year.
The Switchover Help Scheme will contain important information on how residents can get help to convert TVs to digital, said a spokesman.
The pack will be sent to eligible people, who can then apply for the help by filling in the attached forms or by ringing free on 0800 40 85 912.
Ed Jezard, Help Scheme manager, said: “The message for eligible people is that there is no need to worry because help is available.”
