The Dales’ MP will be on hand to reopen a tearoom at one of the Peak District’s top attractions.
Patrick McLoughlin, MP for Derbyshire Dales, will be reopening the Tissington Tearooms after a revamp.
The grand reopening marks the start of the 2012 tourism season and takes place this Friday as part of British Tourism Week.
The picturesque Peak village welcomes more than 35,000 visitors during the annual Well-Dressing ceremony over Ascension Week.
The tearooms employ ten full and part-time staff and all food served is locally sourced.
Meat comes from the village’s White Peak Butchery, ice cream from Shottle based The Cowhouse Dairy, milk from local dairyman John Gibson and bread from Spencers’ of Ashbourne.
