A TEXTILE company that produced the enthronement robes for Archbishop George Carey will form part of a display at St Clement’s Church, in Horsley.
The Church Street building will be open at various points during Saturday, July 16, and Sunday, July 17 for the special exhibition of church textiles.
Among the many works on show will be items from the internationally-renowned, Derby-based Juliet Hemingray company.
As well as George Carey’s robes, the firm has also produced church vestments for Archbishops Rowan Williams, Jon Sentamu and Desmond Tutu.
Ring the church on 01332 880284 for more details on the textile exhibition.
