Thousands of foodies were able to gorge themselves on everything from exotic delicacies to local specialities as Belper staged its largest ever food festival.
More than 80 stalls briming with treats were set up in the town centre for the event, which has now expanded to include real ale, a craft festival and arts trail.
The event, which was started out six years ago at Fresh Basil on Strutts Street attracts people from across the region, eager to sample the cheeses, meats and cakes on offer and lap up the entertainment.
Amber Valley Borough Council spokesman and Belper resident, Luke Barratt, said: “It was an amazing event. As ever Belper Town Council has done a brilliant job and there was barely a blade of grass or inch of pavement to be seen.”
