A BELPER woman is about to reveal to the town the real beauty behind horse riding!
Tracy Gamble is one of 15 horse-lovers who have been photographed wearing little more than their riding boots and a smile for a 2012 Lady Godiva-style calendar.
Snapped by photographer Andrew Monk, it’s in aid of The Myelin Project, a charity which funds research into multiple sclerosis (MS). His wife Gwen was struck down by MS 18 years ago, aged 32.
Tracy, who is a personal carer, was pictured with her horse Samson. She said: “When I was approached to do the calendar it came as a bit of a shock. But it was for an excellent cause, so excitement took over. I had a wonderful time doing my shoot, although it rained so we had to dive for cover a few times!”
The calendar will be on sale at Rachel’s Hairdressers, Days Lane, Belper, from the end of the month. View it at www.hottotrot.org.
