TV stars’ in footy game

a HOST of TV celebrities are to take part in an annual charity match that is named after a former Belper Town striker.

Jamie Walker’s sixth annual charity football match will take place at Chesterfield FC’s B2net Stadium on Sunday, May 29 (kick-off 3pm) and see a number of Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Shameless actors in action.

Former nailer Jamie is now four years in remission from lymphoma cancer.

The match, which will see a team of Chesterfield FC legends take on the M1 Charity Football Team, will raise money for the Shannon Bradshaw Trust, the Lymphoma Association and the Chesterfield FC Community Trust. Tickets are available from Chesterfield FC.
